In this article we cover how the sell by option works in MeasureSquare 8 in regards to pricing, rounding, and display of unit of measure
This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 build 10345 and newer
Area 1: Identify your Unit of Measure. In our example we have a case of tile. Each case contains 10SF worth of tile.
The worksheet icon found in this section, when unchecked allows you to display the SF, or by toggling it on, the total amount of cases.

Info: The units SF and Cases are dependent on the specific product you are using

The "sell by" box must be checked to use this feature
Area 2: You can enter the price by the square foot, then click the link button to generate the Case Price

This calculation requires SF/Case section to be filled out beforehand
Area 3: With a 12x12 room full of 3x6 tile and 5% waste added on, We calculate 144SF plus 5% waste to get 151.2SF. Then we go to the next Carton to bring us up to 160SF.
With the worksheet icon togged on that tells we need 16 Cases
Without the worksheet icon turned on that tells us we need 160SF. Still rounded up to the nearest full Case
