How to update my product catalog to enable the sell by: Original UOM in the worksheet for MeasureSquare 8

This article will show you how to set all the products in your existing product database that are set to Sell By Original UOM to use that unit in the worksheet in MeasureSquare 8.
This article applied to MeasureSquare 8 Commercial Edition build 10345 and newer

Note: the Sell By: option for a product also needs to be enabled for this feature to take affect.

Individual Product Changes and Set-up

Step 1: Open the View/Modify Details Window for your designated Product. In our example we will be using a Tile Type product

Step 2: Navigate to the Pricing section and enable "Sell by" if you have not already

Step 3: Fill out SF price and have MeasureSquare automatically calculate your box prices with the Link prices icon, or skip this to input the box price directly

Step 4: Enable "use box unit in worksheet" to have Box quantities displayed, or disable to show Quantities in SF as in our example with our box of tile

Info: This toggle is shown using a Heart icon for enabled. You may have different container names and Units. Example LF and Pieces for transition strips. 

Making Changes to Multiple Products

If you have an existing product database and you want to mass enable the send the Sell By: UOM data to the worksheet you can double click the Product/Services [1] folder, select the black drop down arrow [2], click Select All [3].

Select the drop down menu again [1] and click Set product(s) UOM to use "Sell By" in worksheet [2]. 
If you want to enable it on a per product basis you can click the Worksheet Sell By [3] toggle option.

Note: if you want to enable this option for products applied to a diagram you can select the Project Items folder instead, and continue the steps from there.
