How to use Vertical/Horizontal Drop for Pattern Carpet in MeasureSquare 8?

This article will provide guidance on how to configure Horizontal Drop and Vertical Drop on a Carpet product in MeasureSquare 8. 

Inside the Carpet type product window, the Horizontal Repeat and Vertical Repeat needs to be filled in, which represents the dimensions of the Pattern Repeat for the Carpet Product.

Horizontal Drop: When the pattern shifts sideways every time a new vertical repeat begins — producing a staggered / brick-style look down the length of the roll.
Vertical Drop: When the pattern shifts up or down every time a new horizontal repeat begins — producing a staggered look across the width of the roll.

Warning
Only use Horizontal Drop or Vertical Drop, cannot be applied at the same time. Only can use one or the other

Horizontal Drop: 


Fill in how much distance the drop will shift in a horizontal layout (left & right) in Horizontal Drop field:
