How do I setup pattern carpet layout in MeasureSquare 8?

In this video we will cover how to set up area items including a roll good with a pattern repeat in MeasureSquare 8.


This article applies to Windows MeasureSquare 8.


Step 1: Enter the dimensions of the pattern repeat for your carpet

  1. Horizontal Repeat: Width of the Pattern
  2. Vertical Repeat: Length of the Pattern



  1. After inputting the dimensions, click Save.

Step 2: Drag and drop your Pattern Carpet onto the room, notice that the pattern repeat is displayed in a grid inside the room.

The 3'x3' Pattern Repeat is measured by using the Dimension Tool to ensure the system displays the correct dimensions within the room.
