How to import Products from a File, M2 Cloud, and QBO in MeasureSquare CRM?

In this article, we will show you how to import Products from an Excel File, the Cloud, and from Quickbooks Online (QBO) in MeasureSquare CRM.

Importing products to the Products module is used to keep all your product data in one centralized location. This method is used when you want to build a master catalog of products that can be used across multiple projects. This method is different from pulling products from a diagram when you need to generate a quote or a bid based on the specific products in a diagram. 

To import products, please follow these steps: 

Step 1: Go to your Products module
Step 2: Click on the dropdown arrow beside New Product on the top right side
Step 3:  Choose which option you would like to import your Products from (Cloud, QuickBooks, or Excel File)



Importing from Cloud
When importing from MeasureSquare Cloud, select your Product Catalog and click on Save. Afterwards, all your products from that catalog will be imported over to your Products list



Importing from QuickBooks Online (QBO)
This will import your products from your linked QBO account, specifically your Products under Sales > Products & Services

Clicking on this button will automatically start the import process

Importing from File
You can upload any CSV, XLS, or XLSX file containing your Products

Download the sample spreadsheet and follow this formatting so that your products will be uploaded successfully




After import, your products will populate on the Products Module. All the products will be grouped under one list.
