How to Display an Image of the Slab in MeasureSquare Stone?

This article will guide you through the steps to display an image of the slab in stone using MeasureSquare 8.

Steps to Display an Image of the Slab in Stone

Step 1: Add a New Product

  1. Click the "+" button in the Product/Service panel to add a new product.
  2. In the New Product window, enter the product name or SKU (e.g., "Ice White").
  3. Select Cut to Size from the Type dropdown menu and click Save. to create the product



Step 2: Configure Product Details

  1. After adding the product, select it from the Project Items list.
  2. In the Item Info section, enter the slab dimensions (e.g., width, length, and thickness).
  3. Click the Set Slab Image button to upload an image of the slab.



Step 3: Import the Slab Image

  1. In the Set Slab Image window, click Import Image(s) to upload the slab image from your computer.

  1. After importing the Slab Image, you can adjust the orientation of the image, then click Set Slab Image & Preview to confirm the image.
  2. Click OK to save the changes.



Step 4: Save the Product

  1. After setting the slab image, click the Save button in the Item Info section to save the product configuration.



Step 5: Display the Slab Image in the Layout

  1. Go to the Options menu in the Views Section toolbar.
  2. Enable the Cut to Size Texture option to display the slab image in the layout.



Step 6: View the Slab Image

  1. The slab image will now appear in the layout, showing the texture and dimensions of the stone slab.


Info
If the Slab Image doesn't display after Cut to Size Texture toggled on, that means the Slab size is too large for the Cut to Size Product.
