This article will show you how to fix the printing issues for MeasureSquare 8 desktop windows version. These issues stem from possible lack of memory on the computer and/or printer, driver compatibility issues, lack of XPS support for certain printers and plotters
This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 Desktop build 8399
NOTE: If your printers and options window flickers or is otherwise hidden, please try following the steps from our article on:
If you see the "Extended Print" grayed out, that means your printing device supports XPS and is the best option for printing support by windows.
If it is not grayed out you will have 2 options to select to attempt improving printing capabilities:
|
|
PDfium: Will print faster but more memory will be used by both devices when XPS is not supported
Ghostscript: Will print slower but uses less memory when XPS is not supported. This requires the 3rd part ghostscript importer to be installed. See this KB Article for instructions.
