I am no longer seeing the product details window on my MeasureSquare 8

In this article, you will learn how to resolve the issue where your product details pop up window does not appear when you are trying to update a product in either your product catalog or assignment list/project items.

This article applies to MeasureSquare 8, Build 9459 and newer.

If you run into the scenario where you want to view or edit your product details, but the details window does not appear when you right-click on your product and select View/Modify Details, you may try deleting a specific program file to fix this issue.

Common Reason for Missing Windows: Using a laptop and switching workstations or connecting and disconnecting external Monitors. 

        - Our program has smart technology that helps remember where to open pop-up windows. Sometimes this technology can interfere if the last known location is no longer available.

Please follow these steps:

1. Save and/or sync any open projects, then close MeasureSquare.

2. In your Windows search bar, type in %appdata% and click on the folder in the search result (screenshot below).

3. From the folder you are currently in, locate the file by following this path, and delete it:

MeasureSquare\M2_win|UserData\[Your MeasureSquare ID]\Profiles\Local\uiLocal.m2s.

4. Open MeasureSquare 8. You should now be able to edit your product details.
