How to use AI Auto Takeoff in MeasureSquare 8

In this article we cover the steps to make use of our AI Auto takeoff tools

Auto Takeoff Current Plan

Important: You must have an active Commercial License in order to gain access to this feature. Please see how to Upgrade your subscription or Purchase a new subscription

Step 1: Confirm Plan Scale 

Step 2: Select the Plan, then click on the button for Auto Takeoff in the tool ribbon

Note: You may enable or disable room labeling before you start your Auto Takeoff. This feature will automatically use the text from the plan to designate the rooms drawn over the top of them.

Step 3: View Results

Auto Takeoff Multiple Pages

Step 1: Import and Scale each Plan

      - See how you can scale each plan automatically with auto detect scale

Step 2: Select the Plan, then click on the expanded menu button for Auto Takeoff in the tool ribbon

Step 3: Select Auto Takeoff Multiple Pages and select which plans to takeoff

Step 4: View Results

Auto Takeoff By Cropping

Step 1: Import and Scale Plan

Step 2: Right click on the plan and select Auto Takeoff by Cropping

Step 3: Drag and drop a box around your intended takeoff area by holding down left click and moving to the opposite corner
