Why isn't my pop-up appearing when I place a Count or Door in a room?

This article will show you how to turn on pop-ups when adding doors or Count items in MeasureSquare 8 for Windows desktop. 

You can restore your pop-ups when adding Doors and Count items to your rooms by using shortcut keys.


This article applies for build 8941 in MeasureSquare 8.

Restore pop-up for Doors

Step 1: Click on the Door icon



Step 2: Tap on the "C" key. A pop-up window will appear, showing the door's details. Check the box for "Show this window when adding door" to ensure that the pop-up shows up whenever you add a door to a room.




Restore pop-up for Count Items

Step 1: Left-click and drag your Count item (e.g., the Corner Guard product below) into a room, and hold your finger down on the mouse.



Step 2: Hold down the Ctrl  key, then release the mouse button. A pop-window will appear; check the box next to "Pop Up By Default" to make sure the pop-up appears whenever you add a Count item to your room.
