Why am I Unable to Save My MeasureSquare 8 Files on My Mac Computer?
In this article we will be covering what can prevent a user from being able to save their MeasureSquare 8 files correctly while running MeasureSquare 8 on a Mac computer.
This is for Build 8941 and newer.
When you are working in MeasureSquare 8 on a Mac device, you must make sure that you have your folders being shared between both the Mac and Windows. If you do not, you may receiving a pop up warning like shown below and not be able to save your projects.

Step 1: Type in "Registry Editor" into your Windows search bar open the program
Step 2: Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Step 3: Send us a screenshot of that page. It should look like this:
And lastly, we may ask you to do the following steps as well.
Step 1: Type in %userprofile% into the Windows search, hit enter, then try to create a new empty folder
Step 2: Type in %appdata% into the Windows search, hit enter, then try to create a new empty folder
