Why am I getting a message saying there is a concave room with self coving in MeasureSquare 8?

This article will help explain the purpose of the red notification when self coving concave shapes(rooms), outside corners and curved walls.

Commercial MeasureSquare 8 Build 7765 & after

This message is notifying you that MeasureSquare 8 cannot seam/cut correctly for self coved outside corners (concave shapes). See the screenshot below, the piece that would be fitted using a miter type cut is what MeasureSquare 8 is unable to fill from the waste on the cutsheet. This is technically a very small amount of vinyl that would rarely not be covered by waste.

The way it is estimating has not changed, you can disable the message under System settings -> Advanced Tab -> Uncheck the box for Self Coving on Concave -> Save

Click Estimate > Select all or select the products that need to re-estimate > Ok and the qyt will no longer showing up red with the exclamation marks
