What should I do if it takes too long to import PDF files on MeasureSquare Stone?
In this article, we will show you ways to prevent the PDF files importing process from taking too much time.
Method 1: Image Resolution
By default, the program defaults image size to 10000.
To speed up the process, you can either choose smaller image size and work with lower image quality; or you can choose 3rd party PDF converter.
Method 2: 3rd party PDF converter
Info: MeasureSquare integrates with a popular 3rd party PDF to image converter known as GhostScript. Please install the program and select it for use in MeasureSquare as the Primary PDF tool
To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Download and install GhostScript from the below link: (remember to install it to the default folder)
2. In MeasureSquare 8, import a PDF and click on the gear icon next Ext Pdf Tool to set up using GhostScript as an external PDF tool. Screenshots of this process are below:
