What is the Hit-test Tolerance on MeasureSquare 8?

This article will go over the system setting for hit-test tolerance on MeasureSquare 8 and how it can affect your drawing process. 


This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 Builds 7232 and newer. 

Step 1: Locate your system settings icon in the top left. 



Step 2: Locate the 'Drawing Tab' and there will be the 'Hit-test Tolerance' section at the top right. 


The purpose of the Hit-test Tolerance is to make it easier to assign wall base to rooms and transitions to rooms. The higher the number, the farther away your mouse can be to apply the linear product. 


Step 3: Set your tolerance to your preference, you can always save changes to conduct tests for what work best for you and your jobs.
