Overview of View Options

These screenshots show the View Options dropdown menu in MeasureSquare Stone, which controls what information is displayed on your tile layout drawings.

How to Access

Click the Options button in the View toolbar from the top ribbon



After clicking the Options button, it displays a list of Options to toggle on/off whether they're check marked or not. 



View Options Categories

Display Elements

Option Purpose
Grid Shows/hides the background grid
Object Label Displays labels on objects
Product Label Shows product names on areas
Area Size Displays area dimensions
Angle Shows tile layout angles
Dimension Displays measurement dimensions
Markup Shows markup annotations

Layout & Structure

Option Purpose
Splash Splash pattern display
Laminate Shows laminate overlays
Bounding Rectangle Displays bounding boxes
Wall Section Shows wall section indicators
Door & Window Displays door/window symbols
Walls on Right Side Wall orientation display
Ceilings as Top View Renders ceilings from above

Image & Texture

Option Purpose
Image Shows imported images
Image Overlay Overlays images on layout
Slab Random Texture Randomizes slab textures
Slab Layout Texture Shows slab layout textures
Tile Texture Displays tile textures
Random Tile ✓ Randomizes individual tile appearance

Product Display

Option Purpose
Length/Width Shows tile dimensions
Piece Orientation Displays tile orientation
Area Shows area calculations
Tag Displays product tags
Product List Tooltip Hover tooltips for products
Product List Shows product list overlay
Linear Product as Line Renders linear products as lines
Linear Product as Symbol Renders linear products as symbols
Count Product Displays count-based products
Underlay Product Shows underlayment products

Hatch & Grid Patterns

Option Purpose
Product Hatch Applies hatch fill to products
Tile Piece Hatch Hatches individual tile pieces
Hatch as Black Forces hatch color to black
Product Grid Shows product-level grid

Pattern Controls

Option Purpose
Pattern Position Displays pattern origin point
Pattern Pos Dimension Shows pattern position dimensions
Tile Direction Indicates tile lay direction
Tile Cut Highlights cut tiles

Tips

  • Checked items (✓) are currently visible on your drawing
  • Toggle options on/off to reduce visual clutter when presenting to clients
  • For shop drawings, enable Dimension, Product Label, and Area for complete documentation
  • For client presentations, consider hiding technical overlays like Grid and Bounding Rectangle
