My MeasureSquare 2015 project files open blank in MeasureSquare 8.

In this article, we're going to show you how to fix the issue where 2015 project files open blank in MeasureSquare 8.

Version: This article applies to Measuresquare 8 versions

Note: This most likely happened when you opened a 2015 file in MeasureSquare 8, and clicked save. In the future, click "save as" to create a MeasureSquare 8 version of this file. Continue to work on this newly saved version in the future. "Save as" will only be required the first time.

Step 1: Right click on the 2015 files> rename the extension from fepz to fez > Enter > Click Yes to the pop up window

Step 2: Using the MeasureSquare 8 program navigate to File > Open > Select the project you just renamed > Open 

Step 3: File > Save As > Pick a different location to save your new project files so you don't get confused with the old files

Note: When you go back to work on your projects, make sure to open your projects that you saved in the new location
