In this article we will explain the uses and setup required for making the most out of Quotes
This article applies to MeasureSquare Stone version 9891 and newer
The Quote tab provides you with a quick and easy way to view what you would send out for a Proposal or Vendor Quote. Though the same options are available from Printers and Settings from inside the worksheet, the Quote tab is easy to use and has an additional option to send an email straight away. The email will automatically save the Document as a PDF and attach it to the email for you.
There are 2 main ways to make changes to the document(s) you are building here.
1. Printers and Settings
- This adds and removes things like included photos, live images of the diagrams in the takeoff, and allows for controls on paper size and Orientation
2. Worksheet
- Any changes made from the worksheet will show up on the quote as well. The layout is exactly the same as shown with the columns from this view. By navigating back to the worksheet tab, you can make any changes if you were not set-up correctly the first time, Or you can use the edit button to go back to the exact document you are working on. This can be useful when working with many documents or revisions.
In the image below, I went back to the worksheet to collapse the columns for Tag 1 (Room) to get a more generalized Proposal. I then removed the columns so that only the columns that have values listed are shown. See how that view is carried back to the quote.
