How to Use Set Arc in MeasureSquare Stone

In this article, we will walk you through the Set Arc tool in MeasureSquare Stone. The Set Arc tool converts a straight edge of a countertop into a curved arc, which is useful for designing countertops with rounded edges, curved bar tops, or any non-rectangular edge profiles.

Set Arc (Freeform)

Step 1: Select a countertop area on the takeoff.
Step 2: Click the main Set Arc button (not the dropdown arrow) directly inside Shape Edit.
Step 3: Click on the straight edge you want to curve, then drag outward to shape the arc. A red arc line will appear showing the curve, with a green guide line displaying the arc dimension. Release to apply.

Set Arc By Radius

Step 1: Click the dropdown arrow next to the Set Arc button and select Set Arc By Radius.
Step 2: The Set Arc By Radius dialog will appear — enter a Radius value (e.g., 1'5") and click OK.

Step 3: Click on the handle or straight edge you want to curve. The edge will be converted into an arc with the exact radius you specified.
