How to use Roll-cut Option for a vinyl/tile product in Measure Square 8
In this article, you will learn how to use the "Roll-cut Option" for a vinyl/tile product in Measure Square 8.
The "Roll-cut option" controls how the waste will be spread,
- if "None", the software will always reuse remnants of materials without any limitations. This should theoretically result in the lowest waste.
- if "By Tab", remnants of materials will only be reused within the same tab. It won't use leftover materials from other tabs.
- if "By Room", the remnants of materials will only be reused within the same room. Leftover materials from other rooms won't be used, which could potentially lead to the highest waste.
If you set the "Roll-cut option" in the general system setting, it won't change anything in the current project, but it will affect the next project you open.
