Roll Allocation (Dye lot) is only available for Multi-family license of MeasureSquare Mobile
Steps to Use Roll Allocation (Dye Lot):
Step 1: Open the Estimate Settings
- Tap on the "Estimate" button.
- Click on the "Optimize" button.
Step 2:
Choose the product you want to allocate dye lots for (e.g., Vinyl, Carpet, or Wallpaper).Tap "Done" to confirm your selection.
Step 3: Access the Roll Allocation Settings
- Click on the "Roll Length Option".
Step 4: Enable Roll Allocation
- Switch to the "Roll Allocation" option.
Step 5: Add Dye Lot Rolls
- Enter your dye lot roll details, including:
- Dye Lot Name
- Roll Length
- Roll Count
- Choose how you want to mix the dye lot rolls using the available mix options (No Mix, Sequential, or Mix).
Explanation of Different Mix Options:
No Mix:
- The system does not mix different dye lots within the same room or area.
- Each room or section will be assigned a single dye lot to maintain color consistency.
- If a dye lot runs out, a new dye lot will be assigned to a different section, but never mixed within the same section.
Sequential:
- The system assigns dye lots one at a time in a sequential manner.
- This means one dye lot will be used until it is exhausted, and only then will the system start using the next available dye lot.
- This helps in maintaining some level of color consistency while maximizing material usage.
Mix:
- The system allows multiple dye lots to be mixed freely within the same room or section.
- This option is useful when color variation is not a concern or when maximizing material efficiency is a higher priority than maintaining uniform dye lot consistency.
