How to Remove an Applied Product from an Area in MeasureSquare Stone

This article explains how to remove a product that has already been applied to an area in MeasureSquare Stone using the Product Eraser tools. Use this when you need to clear an incorrect product assignment or replace one product with another on an area, wall base, or count item.

Steps to Remove a Product from an Area

In the Product/Service panel, expand the Product Erasers folder.
Select the eraser type that matches the product you want to remove:
- Areal Eraser – removes areal products (e.g., tile, carpet)
- Linear Eraser – removes linear products (e.g., wall base, transition)
- Count Eraser – removes count products (e.g., handles, bullnose)
- All Products Eraser – removes all product types at once
Drag the selected eraser onto the area with the applied product.
The product is removed from the area.

Note: Once a product is removed, its related quantity and price data will also be removed from the report.
