Any white space to the right of the red line and last cut on a roll is NOT waste. It is as if that area does not exist.
Waste is only the white space in the area with cuts (left of the last red line).
Compare the image above, with the visual of the same cut sheet below, where YELLOW is the waste and Black is NOT included, as if it does not exist.
