JobTrakr has a great Markup feature on the web and app version. Use this to call out areas and relay time sensitive information.

Here is an example of using the cloud tool to highlight an area and call out a change in work. I used the cloud tool to circle the rea, and dropped a task pin to alert the appropriate team member. 

JobTrakr for iOS (iPad)

On the iPhone and iPad version, you can do all the same functions as the web version, but you can do them without an internet connection. Built like this for the field users.

As you can see on the iPad, the markups and tasks I added from the web our here as well.

Now lets do our own markups on the iPad and assign a task for a concrete slab issue.

Tap on the icon at the top left to access the markup tools

You can see the added red square and a blue arrow pointing to the corner of the issue. Along with the dropped pin that will have more detail information such as a description and photo.
