How to fix a large project that crashes when I open it in MeasureSquare Mobile for iPad?

Large projects that are drawn all on one tab in the MeasureSquare Mobile for iPad App can sometimes cause the app to close. It is best practice to draw large projects on multiple tabs to prevent this type of issue from occurring.

To resolve this issue with a project that is closing do the following (requires MeasureSquare 8 desktop version):

Step 1: Go to cloud.measuresquare.com and login so that you can download the projecton to a desktop running MeasureSquare 8.

Step 2: Open the downloaded project in MeasureSquare 8.

Step 3: Take the content from the one takeoff tab and create a new tab to break out sections of the project into click OK.

Step 4: Copy a portion of your project to the new tab and delete the section from the main tab.

Step 5: Once the project has been broken into the appropriate tabs go to File -> Save As name the project accordingly 'Project A Revised' etc.

Step 6: Upload the local project to the cloud.

Step 7: Once fixed project is synced sync from your iPad and resume your usual workflow on the project.
