How to enable/disable the Pop-up Menus, and what they do for iPad

This article will show you where to enable or disable the various pop-ups that appear while doing a take off, and a brief explanation of each window's features.


This article applies to iPad iOS


InfoInfo: This section will show you where to find the options to turn on or off the pop-up menus for the different take off items.

Step 1: While in a project select the Settings [1] icon in the top right. In the Project Settings menu that appears select the System Settings [2]

 


Step 2: Select the Pop-up Window Control option.



Step 3: Enable any of the pop up menus want to see, and disable the ones you don't.

Room Label

The Room Label menu appears when you close a room. It allows you to set the rooms display name as well as attach photos to the room which are also displayed on the print report.



Door Details

The Door Details menu appears when you place a door into a room. It allows you to set a name for the door, the doors dimensions, the doors position in relation to the corners of the wall, the style of door, and if flooring products are included in the door area.


Stair Details

The Stair Details menu appears when you place down a set of stairs. It allows you to name each stair case, set how many identical staircases you have and multiply the applied products accordingly, and what style your products are applied to the stairs (see section below for more details). You can also set the desired dimensions, the number of steps, and if there is an extra riser.


Waterfall is for roll goods and will be applied to a number of steps set in the previous menu under Steps per Break.
Tread and Rise applies products to both the Tread and Rise as individual areas.
Tread Only/Rise Only applies products only to their respective areas
Full Wrap applies products around the step for floating steps


Elevation Details

The Elevation Details menu appears when you close an elevation. It allows you to name each stair case, set how many identical elevations you have and multiply the applied products accordingly, and set the desired height.


Floor Condition

The Floor Condition menu appears when you close a room, but will appear after closing the Room Details menu if enabled. It allows you to fill out the form shown below.
