In this article, we will show how to create a sales pipeline to indicate projects that are 'Won' and 'Lost'. This applies to MeasureSquare CRM.
Setting a Sales Pipeline to mark 'Won' and 'Lost'
A sales pipeline is a visual representation of your sales process, divided into different stages that a potential customer goes through from initial contact to closing a sale. In MeasureSquare CRM, you can create a sales pipeline with fixed 'Won' and 'Lost' stages. This helps track projects or deals that were successfully closed or not. This also keeps an organized view of your sales performance.
Here are the steps to create a Sales Pipeline:
Step 1: Go to ⚙️Settings
Step 2: Select Pipelines & Stages
Step 3: Click on Sales
Step 4: Select New Pipeline to create a new pipeline - This will create two fixed percentage stages: Won (100%) and Lost (0%)
You are able to have multiple stages with a 100% Probability to Win, but only the Lost stage can have a 0% Probability to Win.
When running reports on win/lose rates or bids, the system will look for projects in stages marked as 100% Probability or 0% Probability to Win.
Step 5: Fill out the required fields such as the pipeline name and stage names
The percentage displayed on the right represents the probability of winning a deal, which is important for making sales forecasts.
Step 6: Click 'Save'
Once a pipeline is set to a sales pipeline, it cannot be changed to a "non-sales" pipeline.
This option can be used for project management or other management purposes. The data within Sales Pipelines will be able to generate sales analysis, including sales funnel charts in Analytics.
Projects that have a set Won or Lost date under the Sales Pipelines will be fed into the Analytics Module.
Projects get a Won or Lost date when they are put in a Stage with a 100% [Won] or 0% [Lost] probability percentage.
