How to Create a Count Item on MeasureSquare 8

In this article we will be covering how to create a count item on MeasureSquare 8. An example of when you would want to use a 'count' item would be if you were needing to count how many corners are in an area. 

This article applies to Build 8941 and newer. 

Step 1: Select the '+' in the top left of the 'Product/Services'

Step 2: From the 'New Product' window include your product name in the 'No./SKU' section and select 'Count' for your type. 

Step 3: In the 'Product Database' menu you can include information such as 'Symbol Image', 'Waste Add-on', pricing information, and more. 

Step 4: Now that you have filled in all sections for your product select 'Save' in the bottom right. 

When the product it is applied you will receive a pop up like below:
