How to Copy & Paste a Drawing into Another Tab on MeasureSquare 8
This article will guide you through the process of copying and pasting a drawing into another tab in MeasureSquare 8.

Steps to Copy & Paste a Drawing into Another Tab:
Step 1: Select the Drawing
- Navigate to the tab containing the drawing you want to copy.
- Use the "Select All" tool located in the top toolbar under the 🔎Search tool dropdown menu or press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select the entire drawing.
Step 2: Copy the Drawing
- Once the drawing is selected, right-click anywhere on the selected area and choose "Copy" from the context menu. Alternatively, press Ctrl+C on your keyboard.
Step 3: Create a New Tab
To paste the drawing into a new tab, first create a new tab:
- Click the "+" icon located at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- In the "New Tab" dialog box, enter a name for the new tab (e.g., "2nd Floor") and click "OK"
The new tab will appear next to the existing tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Paste the Drawing into the New Tab
- Switch to the newly created tab by clicking its name at the bottom of the screen (e.g., "2nd Floor").
- Right-click anywhere on the blank grid and select "Paste" from the context menu, or press Ctrl+V on your keyboard.
The drawing will now appear in the new tab.
If you want to erase the entire products from your previous tab, use CTRL+A and use the Room Products Eraser under Product Erasers.
