How to apply weld at Tile Edges in MeasureSquare Mobile?

This article will guide you through the process of applying a linear product to a vinyl tile grid in MeasureSquare Mobile. This is useful for scenarios where you need to associate linear products with a vinyl tile layout.

Steps to Apply a Linear Product to a Vinyl Tile Grid

Step 1: Create & Select a Vinyl Tile Grid

- Open a project and apply a vinyl tile grid to the room. 

- In the Product Catalog section, verify that the vinyl tile product is listed.

- Refer to the screenshot below for an example of a tile grid applied to a room.

Step 2: Create a Linear Product

- Navigate to the Product Catalog section in the left panel.

- Tap the + sign to create a linear product (e.g., "Weld Rod").

- In the product creation window:

      - Toggle on Add-On.

      - Tap Done to finalize the product creation.

Step 3: Associate the Linear Product with the Tile Grid

- Tap on the Assignment List > Tap By Pattern >  Tap the 'i' icon from the vinyl tile grid pattern in the By Pattern Tab

- In the pattern editing window:

      - Use the Grout Product dropdown to select the newly created linear product (e.g., "Weld Rod"). 

      - Tap Done to apply the changes.

 

Grout Width is set to 0" to maximize Vinyl Tile quantities since Weld Rod is being quantified for Vinyl Tile Grid.

Step 4: Verify the Linear Product Application

- Check the By Product Tab in the Assignment List to confirm.

- The usage of the linear product is calculated based on the vinyl tile grid dimensions.
