How to Add Photos to a Room in MeasureSquare 8
This article explains how to attach photos to a room in MeasureSquare 8. Adding photos lets you store reference images—such as site conditions, subfloor issues, or existing flooring—directly with the room, so they stay linked to the project for estimating and reporting.
Steps to Add Photos to a Room
Step 1: Open the Room's Properties
- Double-click the target room on the canvas to select it.
- The Property View panel opens on the right side of the screen.
Step 2: Open the Photos Window
- In the Property View panel, scroll down to the Room section.
- Find the Photos row and click View.
Step 3: Add a Photo
- In the Photos window, click Add. (see Screenshot 2)
- Select the image file you want to attach and confirm.
- Repeat to add more photos as needed.
Step 4: Save Your Photos
- Click OK to save the photos to the room.
Tip: To remove a photo, select it and click Delete. To close the window without saving your changes, click Cancel.
