How to add Freight in MeasureSquare 8
In this article we will cover two methods to include Freight charges in your estimate
This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 build 10115 and newer
Method 1
Info: This method translates well to our CRM and estimates based off the SF for your products. You may also use a Count type item to display how many trucks of Freight at a specified price
Step 1: Create a Freight Product for each unique charge. Below is an example that highlights the important areas. Sell by box, Box price, and Unit
Step 2: Set Freight as an add-on to your main flooring product, then apply to desired area
Info: Your Freight item will be displayed in the itemized list along with your other labor items and materials on your proposal
Method 2
Info: This method is best for lump-sum type Freight charges where you would have an allowance for Freight, or when you have 1 Truck worth of Freight at a specific amount
Step 1: Create a proposal
Step 2: Use the box from the column displayed to input your lump-sum
