This article will guide you through how to add product to an Exterior Shower Curb in MeasureSquare 8.
Steps to Add Product to Exterior Shower Curb
Step 1 – DRAW ROOMS
Step 2 – Split Wall
Using Split Wall Segment split the wall at the same width as the shower

Step 3 – Delete Wall Segments Between Rooms
Right-click on the wall that was split, and select Delete Wall. Remember to delete both wall segments between the Shower Room & the Bathroom.

Step 4 – Stretch Rooms Together
Click-and-hold the red handle in the center of the edge and slide until the edge of the Bathroom illuminates green
Step 5 – Draw Shower Curb using Elevation
Click on Elevation in the ribbon and draw the Shower Curb inside of the Shower room.

Pro-Tip: When drawing the elevation, make sure the desired room is illuminated blue, to ensure proper control. Make sure to start on a wall (illuminated green) and use the distance from the edge to ensure perfect sizing. After the 1st click, use the crosshairs to ensure a straight line, across the shower. The more precise a drawing, the better quantities the system can provide.
Step 6 - Create Wall on Elevation
Right-click on the bathroom-facing edge of the Shower Curb (Elevation) and select Create Wall to create the Exterior vertical surface of the Shower Curb

Pro-Tip: If the Create Wall process above is not followed, then there will only be one vertical surface of the curb, toward the Interior part of the Shower.
Step 7 – Adjust Height of Curb
Adjust the Wall Height in the Property View to the desired measurement (e.g., 4"), as highlighted.

Step 8 - Apply Product
Ensure the shower curb elevation is selected, then click View Wall. This will open shapes that represent the vertical surfaces of the curb to allow for product application.
Select the desired product from the Product/Service panel.
Drag and drop the product onto the surfaces desired.
Ensuring the product is properly aligned and covers the intended area.

Pro-Tip: If trim is required at the edges of the curb, applying the product to those edges in 2D view, will apply them to the bottom of the vertical surfaces – but allow them to be seen in 2D. Applying the trim to the top edges of the vertical surfaces will render them correctly in 3D, but they will not be visible in 2D.
Step 9 - View in 3D
Ensuring nothing is selected (or just the bathroom & shower room are selected) click on View3D to see the applied product in a 3D view.

Within the 3D view, there will be a comprehensive view of the shower curb with the product applied.
