How to Add and Use Countertop Templates in MeasureSquare Stone

In this article, we will walk you through how to save a countertop shape as a reusable template and how to use saved templates in future projects.

Templates let you save common shapes so you can place them on any project with a single click instead of redrawing from scratch. MeasureSquare Stone includes three built-in countertop templates: L Shape Kitchen Top, U Shape Kitchen Top, and Waterfall Island

Saving a Countertop as a Template

Step 1: Click on Templates. The Templates panel will open showing the Countertops category with all available templates.
Step 2: Draw your countertop shape on the takeoff (Using any Draw Tools) and select it.
Step 3: In the Templates panel, click the + Add button. The selected shape will be saved as a new template under the Countertops category.

Using a Countertop Template

Step 1: Open the Templates panel and find the template you want to use.
Step 2: Click on the template and drag it to the takeoff area. Resize or reposition the shape as needed.
