How to Add an Extra Top Riser to a Stair in MeasureSquare 8

Steps to Add an Extra Top Riser to a Stair

Step 1: Open the Stair's Property View

  • Select the stair in your takeoff.
  • The stair's settings appear in the Property View panel on the right.

Step 2: Enable Extra Top Rise

  • In the Property View, scroll down to the Stairway section.
  • Check the Extra Top Rise box.
  • This adds one additional riser at the top of the stair.

Step 3: Confirm the Result

  • An extra riser now appears at the top of the staircase.
