How do I use the table feature in MeasureSquare 8?

In this article, we will walk you through how to create/use the table feature on MeasureSquare 8 Commercial version.

This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 Commercial version 8399 or newer

Create a Table

Step 1: Click on the drop down arrow next to Note > Click Table > Pick the font, background, row count, etc. for your table






Basic Table Operations
  1. Hold Alt on the keyboard and double left clicking on the cell: to edit text and style
  2. Right click on the table: Insert/delete rows or columns 
  3. Ctrl+ left click to select multi cells
  4. Right click after select multi cells to merge them
  5. Right click and select split on the merged cells to unmerge them
  6. Right click on the cell and select Line Style to set the border style or draw border line manually



Advanced Table Operations



Step 1: To add a company logo > Hold down ALT on the keyboard and double left clicking on the cell > Check the box for Image and browse to select the logo > Ok



Step 2: To attach the diagram to a cell > Copy the ID in the the Property View Panel 



Step 3: Double clicking on the cell you want to attach the diagram > Paste the ID > Ok






Step 4: To save the template for the future use > Right click on the template > Add Table Template



Table Print Preview and Print

Step 1: Open the Property View Panel for Print Preview to adjust the paper size, orientation, etc. > Right click on the diagram  > Select Print to print the table
