How do I use the highlighter and mark up tools on MeasureSquare 8?

In this article, we will walk you through how to use the highlighter and markup tools. The purpose of the these tools are for you to highlight any important notes and emphasis on notes that you want people to focus on. 


This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 build 8941

Step 1: Click on the drop  down for the Highlighter tool




Step 2: Chose the settings for your highlighter tool and then highlight your notes







Step 3: Use Set Arc, Split / Delete Wall Segment to modify the freedraw highlighter. 
Freedraw highlighters can also be converted to  rooms.
Highlighters can be finalized to the plan image. (Right-click on a plan image with highlighters on it)



Markup:
 
Step 1: Left click to select the tool > left click and hold down for polygon and rect options for notes that you want to emphasize. For line you will left  click and drag it.
