How Do I use "Image Takeoff" to draw out rooms faster?
This article is for Builds 7044 of MeasureSquare and newer.
In this article we will going over how to properly use our Image Takeoff feature. This tool uses line detection to speed up the drawing process by making you not have to draw out the whole room. This feature is in Beta.
Step 2: Below the 'Draw' tool there is an 'Image Takeoff' option
Step 3: You will receive a pop up that says 'Update Image Intellisense data?' > Select 'OK' to proceed.
You will have to do this above process for every tab.
Step 4: Click on the walls of the room, notice that they will highlight when detected.
Step 5: When each wall has been highlighted turquoise, tap the space bar on your keyboard to complete the room.
Step 6: To make any changes simply click on the starting point and add more by drawing outwards. To delete unneeded space, draw inwards to clean up the area.

This feature can be helpful sometimes depending on the PDF quality. In general the darker the lines the easier it is for the software to detect.
Quality of the PDFs is the key.
