How do I stagger my cuts in MeasureSquare 8?
In this article, you will learn how to stagger your roll cuts in your MeasureSquare 8 so that they are laid out with an offset.
This article applies to MeasureSquare 8, Build 8941.
When estimating roll goods, you will notice that MeasureSquare will lay out your product such the cuts form a grid pattern, as shown below:
In some jobs, you may prefer to stagger your cuts, so that each successive series of cuts is offset from its predecessor, as shown below:
To achieve this layout, you may follow these steps (also shown in the screenshots)
1. Right-click on a room containing your material
2. Click on Layout, Seam, & Tile
3. Click on Stagger Cuts
