How do I space out my cuts on my cutsheet in MeasureSquare 8?
In this article we will use the "Roll Cut Round Up" option to round each cut to the nearest 3" to give us a little more breathing room on the cut sheet and toggle on "square off wedge cuts" to space out the more odd shaped cuts automatically.
Version: Build 6322 and newer
Step 1: Click on a room that has the roll good you want to adjust, or click the drop down in the Estimate Tab to select that product. Product must be selected from here to adjust.
Step 2: Click on the gear drop down menu, then Type in "3 inches" in the "Roll Cut Round Up" field and then left click outside of this menu. You will see the Roll Cuts all rounded up to the nearest 3".
Step 3: Return to the gear drop down menu, click the check box for "Square Off Wedge Cuts" and left click out of the menu area. MeasureSquare 8 will attempt to space out the more odd shaped cuts on the cut-sheet, possibly creating higher waste but also organizing the cuts in a more "real world" fashion.
