How do I share a MeasureSquare 8 file and then open it in MeasureSquare Mobile for iPad?

This article will show you how to share a MeasureSquare 8 Desktop file (.FEZ) via email to another user and how to open that file on the MeasureSquare Mobile for iPad.

This article applies to MeasureSquare Mobile App for IOS

 

From the Windows Machine

Step 1: Save the Desktop file(.fez) locally on the windows machine to a folder that is easy to locate.

Step 2: Go into your preferred email client (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc) and start an email to the desired user (email address). Attach the locally saved MeasureSquare 8 file to that email. Send email.

From the iPad:

Step 3: Open the email through the default email client on the iPad and download the file by tapping on it

Step 4: You may use the "Open in Measuresquare" or tap the share icon and select the Measuresquare Mobile Application icon

The file should then open straight to the takeoff screen within the Measuresquare Mobile Application
