How do I know which cut level I should select for my cut options for MeasureSquare Stone?

How do I know which cut level I should select for my cut options for MeasureSquare Stone?

In this article, we will go over the cut level for the cut options inside the Slab Optimizer tab

This article applies to MeasureSquare Stone Desktop Edition

The cut level will range from 2-6, with 2 being the least aggressive and 6 is the most aggressive

Cut level 2-3 is if you're using a bridge saw to cut your slab. Level 4 is anything in between. If you don't know what type of saw you're using then we recommend you to use level 2-3 to have a safe starting point

Cut level 5-6 is if you're using  computer control water jet or computer control saw

We put two examples below, one with the level 2 and the other one with level 6 for you to see the difference between the two. You can see the Yield Percentage is higher and the Waste Percentage is lower with cut level 6 because it is more aggressive and accurate compared to cut level 2.
