How do I export my takeoff information to a Bid Template in MeasureSquare 8?

In this article, we will show you how you can export your takeoff information to a bid template.

This article applies to MeasureSquare 8 versions

Step 1: Click on the drop down below the  Estimate button > select  Create Bid > Name your file and save it 

Step 2: To load new data into the Bid Template: Click on  File on the top left >  Export MeasureSquare Report > Name your XML file and save it 

Step 3: Go back to your Bid template > Click (clear data if new project) Load MeasureSquare Data to bring in the new data.

Load MeasureSquare Data: Allows user to select a MeasureSquare Bid file from their PC that is in XML format and bring in the data to the Bid Template

Pro Tip: Keep a blank Bid Template saved. Load new project data into the blank Bid, then do a "Save As" to save this file on it's own and leaving the blank file intact.
