How do I change to the room name label on MeasureSquare 8?
This article is going to show you how to change the label for the rooms in your diagram on MeasureSquare 8?.
We offer different options for changing the room label. You can change each individual room or change the preset label using the steps below.
This Article applies to Measuesquare8
To edit labels individually you can start by creating your room.
Step 1: Click and select your room.
Step2: Click in the text field at the bottom of the screen to edit the label.
Or you can expand the property view panel and edit the Name in the text field.
You can also edit individual room labels separately on the property view panel.
Step 1: Expand panel on the right.
Step 2: Open Room View.
Step 3: Right-click over the room on the list and select Edit.
Step 4: Rename the room and click Ok.
To change the preset label for the rooms being created and numbered you can edit by
Step1: Click on the system settings gear.
Step 2: Click on the takeoff tab.
Step 3 Edit the preset name label.
Step: Click save.
