How do I change the default tax rate for MeasureSquare 8?
This article will show you how to change the default tax rate on your MeasureSquare 8 software
This article applies to all MeaureSquare 8 Version: All builds of MeasureSquare 8
Step 1: Create a new worksheet. Click on the Tax Rate blue link to open the Tax Setting Window.
Step 2: Click on the 1st icon to create a new tax rate. Type in a name for that tax rate.
If this is “Cost Tax” click in the box for “Is Use Tax” click ok.
(Note: Use Tax = Cost Tax)
The Tax rate you have set at the top of the list will be the default when creating new worksheets. Select the tax rate you want as default and move to the top using the arrows)
Step 3: At the Tax Name drop-down menu you can choose the rate you want to use.
Step 4: When you create a new worksheet the new default tax rate will show.
